About
About Nagoya Boardgame Rakuichi and its history.
An analog game market where you can try and buy games made by creators.
Nagoya Boardgame Rakuichi is a market for original board games, TRPGs, murder mystery games, card games and more, made by individuals and small circles. You can try them at the booth and buy them on the spot.
It began in May 2022 in Osu, Nagoya, and has been held every year since. Creators explain their own games at their own tables, and that closeness is what we value most.

What we do
Rakuichi Dragon Awards
A contest open only to new titles debuting at Rakuichi. The Fresh Dragon Award covers all genres; the Family Dragon Award covers games families can enjoy together.
Web catalog and reservations
We replaced the paper catalog with a web catalog. Browse every booth and product before the event, and reserve what you want so you can pick it up on the day.
Close-up Rakuichi
An interview series on our site and social media that focuses on the people behind the booths: why and how they make their games.
Official press program
Influencers, bloggers and streamers can register as official press to report, shoot and stream at the venue.
Invitations for educators
Teachers and people working in education can visit for free, to explore how analog games can support learning and children.
The Rakuichi ticket system
Tickets are priced by entry time: the earlier you enter, the higher the price, and later entry is more affordable.
NAGOYA
Nagoya's board game culture
Nagoya is one of the cities where many individuals and circles create original board games. With board game cafés and long-standing game shops, it has places to play, to buy and to make games.
Rakuichi has also been featured in the Chunichi Shimbun series on Nagoya and board games. The reporter who wrote it later joined as an exhibitor, as the Chunichi Shimbun Board Game Club.
Our organizers also help run Board Game Festa MyTurn! with the city of Tajimi, Gifu, working on community building and children's growth through board games.
ORGANIZERS
About the organizers
Rakuichi is run by the Nagoya Boardgame Rakuichi office: JELLY JELLY CAFE (Nagoya Osu and Nagoya Station West), Board Game Festa MyTurn!, and Funaneco LLC. Planning, promotion, exhibitor support and operations are handled by a team of three.
